Video Title - Chat Rooms (Light Bulbs - Technology)

Review: I find this video to be boring due it's talking-head feel. The presenter is clearly reading from a paper and looks down quite a lot. There is only one shot (head on at the speaker and a computer behind her) which although it is composed well, it seems to lose interest quickly due to the lack of engagement by the subject. The information is alright, but again is hampered by the presentation.

Review: This video is very mixed. The subject is interesting and the presenter held my attention, but the audio mixing is quite poor and it detracts from the interesting visual elements. I think that there is a nice "Sesame Street feel" to the video that make it informative, but that with a little work on the audio components it would be an even stronger piece.
Video Title - Richard III Newscast (Lightbulbs - Literature)

Review: This video was a hoot! Using still images (and some Photoshop skills) and mixing them with the live-action mouths (similar to a Conan O'Brien skit) the video tells the story of Hamlet as if it was reported by Channel 8 News. This clip maintains interest, focus, and is quite entertaining as well. A nice clip to use with an English class, or as a model for students to create their own videos.
