Video Project 1 - Resources Needed

I was about half way finished with the video when my program quit out on me. The file was corrupted and I had to re-do the entire thing. That means that I have already put in over 12 hours on this thing. Don't mean to complain - but that sure was frustrating.

My video is about how to set up a SmartBoard and I am making it for teachers as a reference. Many times I hear people talk about how scary it is - so my goal is to make it not so scary and give them a format which they can watch and review as many times as they want. In less than 3 minutes they will see a board get set up completely and be readied to work with a computer.

I plan on making my next video a tutorial of all the great tools and tricks that you can do with the SmartBoard.

Anyway...

I filmed the video using my SONY HDR-SR12 High Def video camera and used the website GoAnimate.com to create a brief animated sequence that I am using as a Picture in Picture enhancement to my project.

I created a few short tracks of music using GarageBand

I also created a few graphics and logos using PhotoShop

I am throwing the whole thing together in iMovie and GarageBand

As with any video projects, time and preparing for the editing has made it a bit easier, but I still have work to do... Video should be done in a day or so... but we'll see.
